Product Description

Chelating Dispersant RG-SPN
Main ingredient: Acrylic polymer
Appearance:  Colorless to light yellow clear viscous liquid
Physical and chemical indicators:
PH value :   7.5-8.5 10 % solution)
Ionicity : Anionic
Solid content : 42 ± 1 %
Solubility : It  can be diluted with water in any proportion.
Freezing point :  -5 ºC

Performance characteristics and uses:
The chelating dispersant RG-SPN has a very excellent dispersing effect on the alkaline earth metal ions, wax, pectin and sediment from hard water contained in the raw cotton.
Chelating dispersant RG-SPN also has the effect of complexing metal ions, to prevent reducing affinity for the fibers and reducing color brightness because of calcium and magnesium ions affect the solubility of anionic dyes.
Even in hard water, vat dyes, such as Indanthrene Blue BC , can be completely absorbed by the fiber.
It can prevent the hydrolyzed reactive dyes from forming calcium salts (this calcium salt is difficult to remove in hard water).
Since the chelating dispersant RG-SPN has a relatively mild complexing effect on metal ions, it will not extract the copper and chromium contained in the metal complex dyes, so it will not affect the activity of the complex metal and color and fastness of direct dyes.
Chelating dispersant RG-SPN has no surface activity, so there is almost no foam; it has no affinity for anionic dyes.
This product can be used as a pre-treatment, dyeing, soaping agent, it can chelate and disperse and protect colloids for hard water ions, other heavy metal ions, and impurities in the dye bath;
When dyeing yarn and greige cloth, the chelating dispersant RG-SPN can prevent the precipitation of hard water and other impurities;
As a reactive dyeing and printing soaping agent, it has a obvious effect on the floating color of lake blue and red;
As a pre-treatment agent, it can prevent silica scale formed by sodium silicate.

This product has the following characteristics.
Stability : This product is very stable to various acid, alkali and electrolyte products at the concentrations commonly used in dyeing solutions.
Compatibility : Chelating dispersant RG-SPN can be compatible with anionic and non-ionic products. With various cationic additives, precipitation will occur in acidic or neutral solutions, but there is no such phenomenon in alkaline solutions.
Ecological: Waste water containing chelating dispersant RG-SPN can be easily removed in the biochemical waste water treatment plant. This product does not contain phosphorus and APEO , and will not release AOX into waste water .
Instructions:
Due to its outstanding complexing, dispersing and protective colloid effects, the chelating dispersant RG-SPN can be widely used in the pre-treatment, dyeing and soaping processes of cotton and its blended products.
Even in a continuous pad dyeing, adding 1.0 -1.5 g / l chelating dispersant RG-SPN is beneficial to dyeing.
 1. Dyeing of polyester / cotton blends
In the polyester-cotton dyeing process, if polyester is dyed first, the wax and pectin impurities released from the cotton will be dissolved in the acid dye bath. However, when dyeing with vat dyes or reactive dyes, these impurities are complexed with the dye to form a precipitation in alkaline medium . Especially when the cheese is dyed, these precipitation will be formed on the yarn in large quantity, causing more serious problems such as blocking the circulation of the bath liquid.
Chelating dispersant RG-SPN can effectively prevent the occurrence of such precipitation, the dosage is: 1. 0 - 2.0 g / l, was added at the initial stage of dyeing.
2. Dyeing cotton with vat dyes
Generally speaking, the high concentration of calcium and magnesium ions contained in raw cotton is difficult to control, and these metal ions easily react with vat dyes to form precipitates. Since the chelating dispersant RG-SPN has obvious complexing ability to calcium and magnesium ions, it can be used under moderate hardness ( < 18.75 ºC lark ), can effectively prevent the occurrence of this kind of precipitation, so it is extremely suitable for the dyeing process of vat dyes on cotton spinning products.
In general dyeing conditions, the dosage of chelating dispersant RG-SPN is: 1. 0 - 3.0 g / l, was added prior to the alkaline agent.
3. Dyeing cotton with reactive dyes or direct dye
When using reactive dyes or direct dyes to dye cotton, hard water can cause calcium carbonate precipitation.
The strong dispersing properties of chelating dispersant RG-SPN can effectively diffuse the calcium carbonate formed in dyeing and prevent the dye bath from becoming turbid.
The complexation of chelating dispersant RG-SPN's , can prevent calcium salt from hydrolysis reactive dyes which is hard to wash away. However , unlike EDTA and NTA , the chelating dispersant RG-SPN does not break the coordination metal complex bonds in the dye, so it has no negative impact on the hue and color fastness of reactive and direct dyes.
If there are more magnesium ions in addition to calcium ions in the dyeing bath, or dye difficult tones such as turquoise blue, it is recommended to add 0.5 g / L of RG-KW.
In general dyeing conditions, the dosage of chelating dispersant RG-SPN is: 1.0 -3.0 g / l, is added at the initial stage of dyeing.
4. Soaping to remove floating color of reactive dyeing / printing
The chelating dispersant RG-SPN is extremely suitable for post-soaping after dyeing and printing with reactive dyes due to its excellent diffusion performance, make the floating color washed out of the fabric disperse in the soap bath and will not be sediment on the fabric surface , Thereby effectively improving the color fastness of fabrics such as washing and rubbing.
In a typical soap bath , the dosage of chelating dispersant RG-SPN is: 1.0- 1.5g l. If floating color is hard to remove, can make secondary soap,  the dosage of chelating dispersant RG-SPN is 0.5-1.0 g / l each time .
The specific process should be adjusted according to the test .
Packing, storage and transportation:
160 kg plastic drum or according to customer requirement.
Protect from exposure and frozen, and store at room temperature 5 - 25 ºC, sealed storage. Shelf life is 12 months.
Once the packaging barrel is unsealed, the product should be used up as soon as possible, and the packaging should be tightly closed after use.
