Product Overview:
RG-EFRA is a new environment-friendly reducing agent used to replace alkali sulfide, Sodium hydrosulfide, etc. when dyeing cellulose fibers and their blended fabrics/yarns with Sulfur dye; It has excellent reduction ability and stability, and does not produce gases such as hydrogen sulfide in dyeing and waste liquid treatment, greatly reducing the COD/BOD value of dyeing wastewater. It has environmental protection, energy-saving and other characteristics, which is conducive to ecological environment protection.

Performance characteristics and usage:
1. This product is an environmentally friendly ecological chemical, with safe storage and convenient use.
2. During dyeing, drying, and wastewater treatment, there will be no generation of foul gases such as hydrogen sulfide, which greatly improves the production environment; Avoiding the foul odor environment in the factory and surrounding areas is beneficial for ecological environment protection.
3. Good stability of Reduction potential and good levelness; The dyed fabric has a pure color and luster, and a full color.
4. Reduce the COD value of dyeing wastewater, reduce the discharge of inorganic salts and sulfur compounds, avoid the generation of sulfur S2-, sulfides, and waste solids, and reduce the burden of sewage treatment. After treatment sewage has no foul odor; After the treatment of sulfurized alkali dyeing wastewater, there is a strong odor and it is easy to undergo secondary reduction blackening and causing fatal damage or even death to the "bacteria" in the sewage biochemical system; This product can effectively protect biological bacteria, endow them with vitality and growth.
5. Easy washing, good softness of dyed fabric or yarn, and also conducive to cleaning and maintenance of dyeing and sewage treatment equipment.
6. Reduce the sulfur content on the dyed fabric/yarn and comply with EU low sulfur environmental standards; Dyed yarn/fabric has no odor, effectively reducing cotton fiber/fabric brittleness during storage and high-temperature wet transportation.
7. This product is suitable for various jet dyeing machines, rope dyeing machines, roll dyeing machines, overflow dyeing machines, and cylinder dyeing; It is suitable for dyeing cotton loose fiber, skein yarn, package yarn, denim yarn and Sulfur dye such as cotton knitting, woven, cotton brocade, T/C blended fabric and rayon.
Usage:
The recommended amount of this product is 60~65% of the amount of Sulfur dye; A certain amount (4.5-5.0g/L) of caustic soda (NaOH flake alkali) needs to be added.
(All cotton dip dyeing) dyeing process:

Penetrant and caustic soda 1.0~1.5% are boiled at room temperature and directly added to the master cylinder, and then heated to 70 ºC. The hydration compound is returned. The auxiliary cylinder is added with other caustic soda, reducing agent RG-EFRA, and Sulfur dye, and stirred for about 10min (the temperature rises to 90 ºC, and cannot exceed 95 ºC). The master cylinder continues to heat up to 98 ºC × 30-45 minutes, after injecting the opened dye and chemical material, add sodium sulfate to keep it warm for 60 minutes, cut it, and cool it to 60 ºC. The auxiliary cylinder pumps water until the main cylinder is 80% full, and discharges 1/3 of the liquid. The auxiliary cylinder runs three times for inlet and outlet (about 8 minutes each time) until the last discharge. Wash two cylinders with clean water, soap wash → cold wash → outlet. (Note that water should be injected first and then drained, which is beneficial for the fabric to be fully washed and oxidized.).
(Denim yarn sizing dyeing) Combined machine dyeing:
(Yarn) White warp beam → Refining → Water washing → Dip dyeing → Oxidation → Water washing → Drying → Sizing → Drying → (Winding) Weaving beam.

Sulfur dye: 5~30 (black 50-80)
Dye: RG-EFRA is 1:0.8-1.0
Liquid caustic soda (30%): 20-40ml/L (pH value=12-12.5).
Penetrant: 3-5
The specific process should be adjusted according to the factory's raw material strength/concentration, production conditions, and customer needs, as appropriate.
Packaging, storage and transportation:
50 kg or 125 kg plastic drums or packaged according to customer requirements.
Protect from sun exposure and freezing, store at room temperature, and do not mix with oxidants, alkalis, and other chemicals. Sealed storage at a temperature of 5-25 ºC, with a shelf life of 12 months.
