The preparation of high concentration of water-based pigment paste and textile printing pigment paste, water-based ink and paper making coating etc.

Dispering grinding auxiliary WBS-18 is the main dispering agent of organic pigment. has excellent dispersing ability for organic pigment and inorganic pigment. Can make the pigment particle to be stable through steric hindrance, prevent flocculate. It has excellent dispersing effect on most of organic pigment such as red, yellow, orange and phthalocyanine blue and green, permanent violet etc. Can prepare high solid content pigment paste, and enhance pigment paste brilliance and strength.
WBS-18 especially applied in water-based pigment paste making, also has a better dispersing effect on inorganic pigment. Therefore, this auxiliary was called " universal water-based pigment dispersing agent".
Recipe of preparing water-based pigment paste:
A: Pigment: 35-50%;        Ethylene glycol: 4 % ;
Triethanolamine: 0.5%      WBS-18 10-12% ; 
Water: X
Pigment paste dispersed by WSB-18 has good stability, without aggregation and separation, can be blended with water-based coatings, shade evenly, no flooding and floating.
(2)Prepare water-based coatings, latex paints etc.
WBS-18 dispersing in water stability, has good dispersing effect on inorganic and organic pigments and fillers, excellent anti-flocculating affect. And have good compatibility with styrene-acrylic and pure acrylic emulsion. General dosage is 0.4-2.0% ( Counted according to solid content).

The following are the pigment paste preparation technologies only used dispersing agent and blended with emulsifier:

1.  Preparation technology of high content Scarlet Red:
R--22,R2,R112,R170 etc. Red: 45%
Dispersing WBS-18: 6-8%
Ethylene Glycol: 4%

Note:If combined with emulsifier (such as Peregal, EL, OP-10 etc.) at the same time, viscosity of the pigment paste will be increased, so be sure to remember that don't add emulsifier when making high content pigment paste !
2.  Dispersing and grinding technology 1 of water-based carbon black pigment paste:
Carbon black: 36-40%
Emulsifier: 3% ( Or instead of wetting agent 1% max)
Dispersing Agent WBS-18: 3-4%
Ethylene glycol:  4-5%
Triethanolamine: 0-0.5%(Adjust PH value,or not add is ok).
Water: X

Prepared carbon black pigment paste has good dispersing ability, good fastness and high brightness.

High effective dispersing and grinding technology 2 of water-based carbon black pigment paste:
Carbon black: 36%
Dispersing agent WBS-18: 6-7%

High content pigment paste prepared by the above technology, has good dispersing ability, good fastness and high brightness.
Note:
Other organic pigment paste also can prepared in this way.

When grinding paste, can add a right amount of defoamer and bactericide according to the situation.
