Alkali swelling thickener RG-JZH506
Product description:
RG-JZH506 is a cross-linking type polymer emulsion thickener containing acidic group. The emulsion will become clear and sticky when it is neutralized by alkali due to the latex particles rapidly expand.
RG-JZH506 can effectively improve shear viscosity and make the coating system with pseudo-plasticity. The coating prepared with RG-JZH506 as the main thickener has a higher yield value and gel structure. This structure will be exposed after the shear force disappears. Therefore, RG-JZH506 is suitable for formulating coatings with moderate 3D effect.
RG-JZH506 also reduces roll splattering compared to high molecular weight cellulosic thickeners. Because it does not contain cellulose, its antimicrobial and enzymatic invasive ability is high, so the viscosity of the coating can be stable for a long time.

Product usage:
1. Coating;
2. Paint color paste;

Instructions:
1. Adjust pH of the coating or emulsion with ammonia or alkali to 8.0-9.0.
2. Use RG-JZH506 directly or dilute with water by 1:1 firstly.
3. Add the diluted RG-JZH506 slowly in low-speed agitation.
4. To measure coating viscosity while stirring, stop adding if viscosity reach requirement. The dosage is 0.5-2.5% usually.
The specific process should be adjusted as appropriate according to the test.
Packing and storage:
The product should be stored in a closed container, anti-exposure and freezing. It is recommended that the normal storage temperature is 10 °C ~ 35 °C, the shelf life is 6 months. It would stratified if long term store, but don't affect using after stirring
Packed in 50 kg or 130 kg plastic drums.
