Product Description

LOW FORMALDEHYDE NON-IRON FINISHING 2D RESIN RG-220A

Main Ingredient: Modified DMDHEU

Performance characteristics and Application: 
Cross-linking agent of textile wash and wear non-iron finishing(anti-shrinkage and anti-wrinkle finishing), mainly applied in the resin finishing of cotton, viscose, and its blended woven fabric or knitted fabric. It also can be applied in embossing, lightning, calendaring, and bubbling. Also, can be applied in shrink water finishing on full cotton, and blended.
The fabrics treated by this product have a good non-iron property, very high hydrolytic ability, very good chlorine resistance, durable for water cleaning and dry washing, with good hand feeling.  
The free formaldehyde is very low. The textile treated by this product has complied to the requirement of "K-Tex standard 100"
Tested according to Law112, free formaldehyde content is less than 150ppm.

Application Method:   

1. Firstly adjust the PH value of the fabric to PH value<6.5.

1. The following recipe suggested adding 2g/l penetrating agent and adjusting the PH value to < 4.0-4.5 by citric acid / acetic acid.

1. Padding/Dipping in room temperature, dosage as blow:

1. Take Magnesium chloride as catalyst is suitable for various fabrics.

Dosage of catalyst: 15% of RG-220A, but not less than 8g/L ( number base on MgCl₂·6H₂O crystal).
 

1. Fabric after being prebaked should be baking under high-temperature 150ºC, 2-3 minutes or 170-175ºC, 60-30 seconds.

Specified technology should be appropriate adjusted according to test, suggest do necessary test before use, especially for white or light color fabric treatment, it is more necessary.

Notes:

1. Before use this product, fabric should be natural meta-acid, and has good permeability.
2. Fabric treated by this product can not need an after-wash process. But after-wash process can help to remove the residual reactant of the surface, to make the fabric hand feeling better.
3. Necessary preliminary test was needed at any occasion before production.

Package and Storage:
Package: 160kg plastic drum.
Avoid insolation and freeze. Stored in a cool, ventilated place.
Shelf life is one year in room temperature.
If stored in a higher temperature, the appearance will tend to be yellow, but it will not affect the product effectiveness and usage. It should be used up once opened the drum. If didn't use up, then just seal it.
In rare cases, there will be little crystal separated out under low temperatures. If increase the temperature or add water and stir, the crystal can be dissolved.
